Hey there! I'm Erica Ray, Founder of Caminos Conversation Club. I'm a Certified Language Coach, Spanish teacher, and former medical interpreter. I've worked professionally with the Spanish language for the past 17 years and I've had the privilege of teaching thousands of Spanish learners through my programs and content.

Building the skills to engage with native Spanish speakers in authentic conversations early on helped me connect to the heart of Spanish before anyone ever tried to convince me that I should learn by memorizing lists of vocabulary and pouring my time into grammar rules (no thanks!).

I built the Caminos Conversation Club to help other learners discover the joys of learning to speak Spanish through real human interaction, just like I did, and finally make the progress that they so desire.

Complete Beginner (A0/A1), Upper Beginner (A2), and Intermediate (B1/B2)! Levels can be subjective and hard to measure precisely. Plus a lot will depend on your confidence level. Therefore, if you're unsure, we recommend attending classes at different levels to see what suits you best! You have access to all 3 levels as part of your membership!

You may attend as many classes as you like! There is no limit and no need to sign up ahead of time. To keep class sizes small, we continuously add more sessions as more students enroll. Therefore, the value of the membership continues to increase while your fee never rises during the time you remain a member! It's unlike anything you've ever tried before!

Each Caminos Conversation Club Intermediate session lasts 1 hour. Starter and Apprentice sessions last 45 minutes. 

The Caminos Conversation Club helps you improve your speaking, listening, reading, pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar! There are even optional writing assignments included. It's quite complete!

However we will always encourage you to include Spanish in your day-to-day life and engage with Spanish speakers in the real world whenever possible! Reading and listening to materials of your personal interest will also help you improve faster.

If you're a complete beginner, please note the following about LEVEL 1: SPANISH STARTER, which is sequential:

Our current round of the 12-week Spanish Starter sequential live classes began on January 6, 2025 and will end on March 30, 2025.

While some learners may prefer to join live classes from Week 1, this is not required as the live classes are accompanied by a self-study video course, allowing you to learn the material from previous weeks at any time. You can study at your own pace with the self-study course and jump into the live classes when you wish. So feel free to join our current round.
