Spanish Booster is a simple add-on for Caminos Conversation Club and Caminos Spanish Story Club members who want greater support each week. If you’re loving the group classes and/or stories, but want 1:1 practice with the provided curriculum, this is for you. 

Penélope (Penny) provides specialized support in pronunciation and reading fluency, helping learners build the foundation for clear and confident Spanish conversations. Originally from and based in Mexico, she draws on her experience as a university language professor to guide students with clarity and warmth. As our pronunciation coach, she’s consistently praised by students for her encouraging approach and her ability to pinpoint exactly what they need to sound more natural and confident in Spanish.

Carlos, originally from Mexico, works with students from beginner to advanced levels and brings over a decade of teaching experience to the Caminos Conversation Club. He’s known for his ability to smoothly adapt to a variety of learners, offering explanations that feel clear, relevant, and easy to grasp—all while making students feel completely at ease with his calm and cool nature. He encourages students to think for themselves and understand the “why” behind what they’re learning, helping them build lasting confidence in their Spanish.

Janet, originally from Mexico, brings over a decade of language teaching experience and has taught languages to children, teens, and adults across all levels—from beginner to advanced and conversation-focused classes. She has a special ability to calm even the most anxious students with her kind manner and step-by-step approach, creating an environment where learners feel both comfortable and challenged. Her creativity and spirit of innovation ensure that each student feels fully supported with the exact tools they need to succeed.

Vanessa, originally from Venezuela and now living in Mexico, brings energy and fun to every class, drawing on years of experience as a classroom language teacher. She holds a degree in Education as well as a master’s degree in University Education—training that equips her to connect with learners in meaningful, effective ways. Her lively, engaging style helps students feel motivated and connected from the very start. Students appreciate how she creates a positive environment where learning feels both enjoyable and empowering.

Debbie is a language expert with years of professional experience using Spanish and English across different fields, including translation and teaching. Originally from and based in Mexico, her deep understanding of both languages allows her to step into her students’ shoes and offer explanations that feel clear, relatable, and easy to understand. She brings a thoughtful and supportive presence to each class, helping learners build confidence with every session.

Sandra is a dedicated and experienced language educator with a career that spans over two decades. Originally from Argentina and now based in Spain, she has taught both English and Spanish in a wide range of settings—from primary schools and universities to corporate training and private academies. Her deep background in language education, translation, and curriculum design allows her to connect with learners of all ages and levels in a way that feels both supportive and effective.
