I'm Erica Ray, Creator of the Caminos Spanish Story Club.
I’ve loved stories even before I started learning Spanish. Since childhood, I've adored being transported away into a book. Give me a rainy day, a cup of tea or hot chocolate and a good book and I'll love you forever!
But besides being a story lover, I'm also a Certified Language Coach, Spanish teacher, and former medical interpreter. I've worked professionally with the Spanish language since 2007 and I've had the privilege of teaching thousands of Spanish learners through my programs and content.
Reading and writing everything from poetry to stories has formed a part of my identity ever since I can remember. I have my wonderful mom to thank for that, who is an amazing writer and storyteller.

Caminos combines a creative story, aimed at improving proficiency in one grammar area, combined with appropriate vocabulary that strengthens the intermediate learner's ability. It includes listening, reading, vocabulary, and speaking.
This program is self paced and easy to follow. It allows the learner to repeat sections as often as needed and has pdf transcripts (that highlight the grammar skill) to allow you to follow along with the story. There are also worksheets provided to help with the skill, vocabulary, and story plot.
Direct and Indirect object pronouns can be confusing in Spanish, but, after using this module I feel so much more confident in my understanding of their use.

Caminos Spanish Story Club is designed for the intermediate level of Spanish learner (A2-B2 level). The course is not for complete beginners, nor for very advanced learners.
The reason that Caminos is effective for intermediate learners of different levels is because it's designed to give you a monthly grammar focus within the story and improve in that area. We've noticed that these are common grammar struggles for intermediate learners both in the low as well as high intermediate levels.
There are certain optional aids (such as captions, the ability to slow down or speed up the story, and even a version of each story that contains optional English subtitles). Therefore students can adjust the program to meet them where they are and enhance their Spanish skills.

Lifetime access to the course means that you will have unlimited access to all of the self-study materials, as well as updates to the courses contained within this collection for as long as the course continues to exist.
